There are lots of reasons to join, but above all, members have a variety of opportunities to strengthen parenting skills, improve relationships, give back to the community, meet new people, get the kids more active, and have a great time along the way.
What ARE
THE
membership BENEFITS?
You will receive invitations to an ever-growing menu of monthly events, including meet-ups and group activities with the kids, plus dads only events and community service opportunities as well as exclusive invitations to annual events (summer picnic and holiday party).
Members will also have access to the experience and expertise of other Wethersfield dads through our private communications platform.
What does it cost? What
do membership dues cover?
Dues are $36 for the upcoming year (9/1/23 to 8/31/24) and will be collected annually. Members who join after 9/21/23 will pay a pro-rated amount for the remaining portion of the current year.
Dues cover the modest expenses of running the club, including maintaining online services, buying supplies for town events (e.g., Bikes on Main), paying State and IRS filing fees, and subsidizing the costs of the summer picnic and holiday party.

Also, 10% of member dues will go toward the creation of a charitable projects fund, which will be used to fund community service or other charitable projects.
Who CAN
become a
member OF
THE DADS CLUB?
Any father who lives in Wethersfield, CT or has children enrolled in any school in Wethersfield can become a member. We have also welcomed dads from other towns in Hartford County in the past. If you want to join but do not meet the criteria, send us an email and tell us about your interest in the club.
We welcome membership from fathers of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, ability, marital status, socioeconomic status, employment or military status.
